You've got questions?

We’ve got answers.

What is the most important thing to consider when looking for a therapist?
The most important factors that determine your success are whether you trust your therapist as well as their expertise.
Some people choose a therapist and stay with them only because they take their insurance.
Staying with a therapist who is a poor fit for what you need will significantly impact how successful you will be.

What is your fee?
Psychotherapy is an investment in better health and a better life.
The therapists in our group are a good fit for people who understand that any treatment or improvement process involves investment and time.
Mrs. Fernandez’s fee is $160 for a 45-minute psychotherapy session for those who do not have Medicaid. We also offer a sliding fee scale.
Our Life Coaches set their own rates.

Do you take insurance?
Yes, we currently accept Medicaid in the state of Louisiana.

What is your cancellation policy?
Please cancel 24 hours before your appointment.
The reason for this policy is that, if you provide less than 24 hours’ notice, we cannot offer that slot to someone else.
All of the mental health professionals/specialist and Life Coaches in our group have the same cancellation policy.

Are all the clinicians in your group experienced? Will they be able to help me?
All of the therapists who have joined this group are trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, one way or another.
Each therapist has different strengths and experiences.
All of the therapists in our group seek out ongoing training in order to stay up to date with the latest research and techniques.
If you do not feel like you and your therapist are a good fit, we will do everything possible to find another therapist in the practice to work with you.
If necessary, we will refer you to one of our colleagues or other agencies in the community.

How long will treatment last?
The length of therapy depends on your symptoms and how bad they are. It also depends on the type of service that you have signed up for along with what the insurance company approves.

Will I have to take medication?
Not necessarily. It varies on a case by case basis.
You and your therapist will discuss your situation and develop a plan that makes sense.
